“Afterglow, Adagio” explores the evocative experience of musical improvisation, and its capacity to tell a story. The surreal dreamscape emanating from the violin, represents the timbre of a musical composition. The articulation is suggested through the winding strings. Their assent through the body of the violin alluding to the rhythmic patterns in the music, and a consequent heightening of emotions and sensory pleasure.
